Also this week I have tried to combine my love of antique mohair and vintage sewing collectables. The result is quite an elegant little pin cushion. Its made with an antique brass arts and crafts napkin ring.Ive used 100 year old mohair filled with sawdust and embelished it with vintage pearls.Ive added some gorgeous vintage pins. Its on ebay right now.
Its been a while but I am determined to keep my blog up to date this time.
I have been working hard and trying out some new stuff lately.

I have two completed projects. The first is "Shirley" the shire .She is 4.25 inches tall and made with the lovely malden mills long pile velvet. She has glass eyes..hand painted features and wired limbs to help her stand.Shirley has a gorgeous fluffy swansdown mane and tail. She is $75 dollars if purchased directly from me.This includes post and packing .
